LAMU is built by a small, deeply committed team of builders who believe technology should help people form meaningful relationships, not distract from them.
LAMU was founded by Ada Jin, who had technical work experience at Meta, TikTok and Marshall Wace. After more than a decade navigating modern dating — through relationships, breakups, and years of firsthand experience with traditional apps — she saw a fundamental gap. Despite infinite choice, people lacked clarity, guidance, and trust in the process. This insight led to the creation of LAMU.
Ada combines technical expertise in AI systems with a strong product vision centered on emotional intelligence, human psychology, and long-term compatibility. Her goal is to build not just a product, but a new infrastructure for intentional relationships.
We believe the best products are built with care, integrity, and deep respect for the people they serve.
After much personal struggle in dating, Georgiy joined Ada to build LAMU. As a college student, he couldn't find a way to meet genuine people looking for something long-term. It seemed everyone around him was only interested in casual dating, so he decided to build a platform for genuine people to meet.
Georgiy's background in building social tech and AI-first products combined with his immersal into the dating scene gives him the perspective and skills to build the future of matchmaking.
